With over eight years’ experience working for renowned Japanese patisserie Quatre, Kaori Ueda has perfected the art of creating elegant and authentic Japanese food experiences.
During Kaori’s reign as an accomplished pastry chef in Japan, Kaori ran her own successful private cooking school inspiring over 200 students to create indulgent, unique and delicious cakes and pastries to excite the taste buds, feed the imagination and build confidence in the kitchen.

Last year when Kaori and her family moved to Perth she noticed a lack of traditional Japanese sweets available and she felt there would be a significant appreciation of tasting and creating delicious cakes if people had the opportunity.
Being a professional cook as well as a mother, Kaori understands the importance of creating healthy meals without compromising on taste. Utilising unique ingredients such as traditional Japanese flour allows you use less sugar and butter. Kaori has successfully perfected the skill of creating healthy and delicious Japanese cuisine and sweets.
